Hill Day is an opportunity for occupational therapy practitioners, students, and advocates to meet with state legislators and share the value of occupational therapy in Colorado. This event helps strengthen our profession’s voice in policy discussions that impact practice, patients, and access to care.
Participants will have the opportunity to:
- Meet with Colorado legislators
- Advocate for issues impacting occupational therapy
- Connect with OT colleagues and students from across the state
- Learn more about OTAC’s legislative priorities
No prior advocacy experience is required! OTAC will provide guidance and talking points prior to the event.

DETAILS:
Registration will close April 3rd at noon and is limited to 35 OTAC members.
Our Public Policy Chair, Amanda Hoffman, will send an email to those who have registered on April 5th with more details including the agenda, meeting logistics and parking!
CONTACT HOURS:
OTAC members can earn up to 3 contact hours for attending this event. In your registration confirmation email you will be sent a google form which must be completed by April 10th. Certificates will be emailed by April 24th.

Why is Hill Day Limited to OTAC Members?
OTAC represents the OT profession in Colorado, and participants must be OTAC members to represent the association during Hill Day activities. Your OTAC membership directly supports our lobbying efforts and advocacy work.
