VOLUNTEER

• OTAC Members are eligible to volunteer for Committee Chair positions, Executive Board Positions, District Meeting and Special Interest Group Leaders

MENTORSHIP

• Partner with experienced OT practitioners in your area of practice for guidance on ethics, best practice, billing, etc.
• Join OTAC committees to gain leadership, technical, marketing, advocacy, DEI, and event planning experience and skills
• Participate in the OTAC New Practitioner Mentorship Program (coming 2022)
• Ask questions and join in forum discussions

Advocate

• Learn about the legislative process and support advocacy and policy in Colorado and nationwide as it pertains to your practice and profession
• Support the representation of occupational therapy in the state legislature by our lobbyists and  partner with them in advocacy opportunities
• Protect occupational therapy as a regulated health care profession and support inclusion of Occupational Therapy in all related health care reforms and legislation
• Vote! Members are eligible to vote for OTAC Executive Board Members, OTAC Bylaws updates, and special Membership issues
