As Occupational Therapy Month comes to a close, May ushers in Myositis Awareness Month. To build awareness of Myositis and empower therapists to treat those suffering from Myositis, APTA Colorado is extending an offer to OTAC members to participate in a FREE, in-person, educational program on May 28th. 

Physical and Occupational Therapists’ Guide to Myositis

This course aims to raise awareness about myositis among therapy professionals. It also provides valuable education for PTs, PTAs, OTs, and COTAs on the clinical presentation of the disease, assessment tools, and evidence-based interventions for managing patients with myositis.
