Enroll in Auto renew!

  •  There are two ways that members can enroll in auto-renew. One way is if you are signing up for an eligible membership level for the first time. The second way is if you are currently signed up in an eligible membership (see below to determine if your membership is eligible), then you may enroll during your renewal period, which is 30 days prior to your membership expiration date. 

○  For example, if your current OTA/COTA membership expires on 11/1/18, your membership renewal period starts on 10/2/18 (30 days from the expiration date). At the beginning of your membership renewal form, you will find an auto-renew button for you to select to turn the auto-renew option to “on”.  

Eligible membership levels: 

  • Membership levels who are eligible to opt-in to the auto-renew option include:

○      OT/OTR

○      OTA/COTA

○      Retired OT/OTR

○      Retired OTA/COTA

○      Sustaining

○      Corporate

○      Associate

We do not store your credit card information. 

  • OTAC or Civica Management (OTAC’s management company) will not store your credit card information.  Your credit card payment information that is entered for auto-renewal is utilized by our third-party, credit card processor. Your credit card information will only be used for auto-renewal transactions.

We will send you reminders that you are enrolled in auto-renew

  • While you are enrolled in the auto-renew option we will send you an email reminder 30 days prior to your membership expiration date to inform you that your credit card will be processed at your current membership level fee and membership term.

○  For example, if your current OT/OTR membership expires on 12/1/2020 and you are currently enrolled in the auto-renew, we will send you an email reminder on 11/1/2020 that your credit card on file will be charged at your current membership price on your expiration date of 12/1/2020.

You do have the option to opt-out:

  • An opt-out option is available to you during your membership renewal period (30 day window).

○  For example, if your current OT/OTR membership expires on 12/1/2020 and you are currently enrolled in the auto-renew, we will send you an email reminder on 11/1/2020 that your credit card will be charged on the expiration date and if you do not want it to be charged, follow the links provided in the email to opt-out or contact OTAC and we will help you with this request.

  •  Unfortunately, our system does not offer a feature that allows you to opt-out at anytime.  Therefore, once enrolled in auto-renew, you can only opt out during the 30 day window prior to expiration.
