The theme of this year's conference, "Cultivate" will focus on promoting growth, development, and nurturing of skills and abilities. The conference will feature workshops and presentations that explore innovative approaches to occupational therapy, foster collaboration, and inspire attendees to cultivate their own personal and professional growth. If you enjoyed last year's conference, you will not want to miss out this year! More information will be posted soon, but in the meantime, learn more about the venue and becoming a sponsor/exhibitor. |
About the venue...
|
Our venue again this year is the beautiful Parker Arts, Culture and Events Center (PACE), where we will have a large meeting room and smaller breakout rooms for interactive sessions. All rooms are equipped with the latest technology and special features not found in traditional conference spaces! The PACE Center offers us flexible and unique options to have workshops and interactive presentations! One of our breakout rooms - the Learning Lab- has sinks, counters, and washable floors to permit "messy" activities and workshops (arts & crafts, splinting, play activities, etc.) this space also has a "garage door" that opens to an outside space with oversized musical instruments! |
Our main meeting room (175 capacity with round tables) is connected to a large outside patio. This room will be used for large interactive presentations and panel and group discussions. A drop in "quiet" lounge room will also be available for use for attendees to take breaks, practice mindfulness meditations, experience music therapy or just take a quiet relaxing break. |
