What do you love about OT?

I love how broad the occupational therapy scope is. When working with kids, you can work on anything from fine motor skills to social-emotional skills. I think it is amazing that occupational therapists can help a child with anything in their life that is challenging for them.

How did you choose this profession?

I chose this profession when searching for a field that would allow me to work with children in a way that allowed me to use my creativity and healthcare knowledge. After my first shadowing opportunity, I was sold! 

Why did you choose to become an OTAC board member?

I chose to apply for an OTAC board position to further advocate for our profession and meet other occupational therapists in the Colorado area! 

What's your favorite thing to do in Colorado?

My favorite thing to do in Colorado is go camping with my husband and dogs in the summer.
