Conference Chair

Name: Kaily Wood, OTD OTR/L RD/LD

What do you love about OT?

I love the variety of clients and settings that we can work with so you never get bored. I get to be creative with IADLs and leisure pursuits in my current job -- working in independent and assisted living facilities.

How did you choose this profession?

I shadowed a few OTs and PTs in high school and it seemed to match my personality as someone who is a helper and outgoing and always on the move.

Why did you choose to become an OTAC board member?

I wanted to get involved to meet other OTs. I went to school in Arkansas, so I wanted to expand my network in Colorado.

What's your favorite thing to do in Colorado?

Hiking in the summer and downhill skiing in the winter with my husband.

OTAC is the Occupational Therapy Association of Colorado. It is a non-profit organization that strives to increase the quality of care and level of professionalism to the practice of OT in Colorado.
